Journalmarti is a passion project turned independent business where I create and sell apparel, prints, and posters inspired by music discovery and pop culture.
Since learning the process of hand screen-printing, I transformed much of my design work into wearable art. I currently manage an online and pop-up shop, curating and releasing new clothing collections.
Music Medicine is a design that describes the comfort I find in sad songs through visuals of medicine prescriptions, sound waves, and song lyrics. This project is the first of many music-related design representing the visual experience of music.
The Chicago Guy Crewneck is inspired by my friends, thrift shopping, picnicking, and getting matcha. It is a study in character design and screen printing that began as a sketch and gained a new life in different outfits and settings.
